The Studios today
The studio at Ekely
Today the Winter Studio is let to painters. It consists of "the Studio" (40 square metres) and "the Hall" (75 square metres). The graphic workshop (47 square metres) is located in the basement where thousands of Munch's lithographic prints were produced. Also the outdoor studio (75 square metres), where Munch let his paintings undergo the so-called drastic treatment, is for rent.
The address of the studios is Jarlsborgveien 14, 0379 Oslo. The "Artists' Colony" at Ekely is the closest neighbour.
